The European Day of Languages

The European Day of Languages is a celebration of the rich tapestry of languages which make our continent so special. Today, Monday the 26th of September, we at Ekbackeskolan will in different ways focus on this special day. The EU-flag is raised at the new school. All students will be treated to Belgian waffles in the canteen. In the cafeteria there will be a competition in which you as a student can win a fika for your next class council. Exchange students will during the day visit different classes but also later in the week visit the classes teaching German and Spanish.

The European Day of Languages is celebrated every year on the 26th September since 2002.
